Il Colombaio bed & breakfast is a really beautiful and charming "Agriturismo" farmstay located in Tuscany,(Italy) 14 km South of Siena and 50km from Florence and the Mediterranean Riviera (Castiglione della pescaia, Marina di Grosseto, Follonica).

For our guests we have the following available accommodation in a farmhouse of approximately 300 square meter: 6 Rooms, (All with private Bathroom, Air-fan and Frigo-bar) one Living Room, one Breakfast Room, a Reading Room, a Large Kitchen (usable up on request if you have small children), a large Garden with swimming pool, a pergola with big table for barbecue. The rich continental breakfast and the service is included in the room price.

The house has been restored and painted by a wonderful Contemporary Artist. The furniture, the beds and most other objects have been hand made by him; All this contributes to making this house a unique and enchanting place where you can spend your vacations for a short (minimum one night) or long period of time.

We are located 14 km south of Siena (15 min) and you can reach Florence, Arezzo, San Gimignano and the Mediterranean sea in less than one hour car drive, 5 minutes away from the awesome Merse River.

The Petriolo Thermal spas are only 20 minutes away, 5 minute from the "Centro ippico cavalli della Val di Merse" where you can book for Horse Backriding walk of 2-4 hours or 1-2-3 days horse trekking, the nearest Town is "Rosia" located at 1 km from us, there you will find one Supermarket 3 Bars,little shops and one Take Away.

There are also few very good Restaurants in the area within 5 minutes car drive from us, where you can taste a really good Tuscan style meals (price range between 10 and 25 US$ full meal).
